Premade Squarespace Website Policy

When you purchase a Premade Squarespace Website from The Creative Motif, you will receive a link to accept the premade site as a new website, this premade website will not be added to an existing website.

I will always do my best to have your template sent within 48 hours, but please understand that this time frame may vary due to potential unforeseen circumstances and although unlikely, we can’t guarantee that it won’t take longer. Please submit a support ticket if it has been over 48 hours. Please note that there may be a delay on this time frame over the weekend/holidays.

Once the template is added into your account, it is no longer ours and is your responsibility to add your own content + edit the site. If you make any accidental changes to the template we cannot come back into the site and reverse them.

A purchase of a Premade Website includes your chosen site sent to you only once:

If you make any accidental changes to your premade website and want the premade website sent again, or, if you don’t accept the invitation to your new template within 6 months of purchase and your free trial expires, then you will have to repurchase the template so we can prepare and send it again.

Your premade website will come into your account on a free trial. If you let this free trial run out, Squarespace will mark your website for deletion. If your website gets deleted and you want the premade website resent, you will have to repurchase the premade website so we can prepare and send it again. Avoid letting your trial run out by asking Squarespace support for a trial extension, or upgrading your site to a paid plan.

REFUND policy

Due to the fact that all of the products are digital, they cannot be returned or exchanged. I cannot issue refunds after the purchase is made. Please be sure to review the template demos and features, the FAQs and requirements prior to purchasing. If you have any template specific questions, please contact me before you purchase.

SUPPORT policy

I am happy to help you with issues relating to the premade website itself, the install/build, the downloads, the provided files + any problems that might arise with these. 

Unfortunately, I don't have the capacity to help with general Squarespace related questions, premade website modifications, coding modifications or any problems that might arise from them, or any problems you are having with software.

I offer support via email (hello@thecreativemotif.com) and I aim to respond within 48 hours Mon-Fri (2 business days).

COPYRIGHT + LICENSING policies

Premade Squarespace Website:

Each premade website purchase may be used for one project/website only (eg: 1 premade Squarespace website purchase = 1 Website). If you want to build multiple websites with the same template, you must purchase it again for another license.

By purchasing a premade website, you agree that:

If you are using the premade website to build a design for a client, you are prohibited from claiming or promoting these designs as solely your own.

You may not resell the design or claim the design as your own. 

You may not share the premade website, graphics, files or any design elements provided in your purchase with anyone else.

Any photography provided with the premade website is for demonstration purposes only and copyrighted to its original creator. You must replace these photographs with your own / source images yourself. I hold no liability for any image licensing / copyright issues that may occur through your unlawful use of the supplied images.

The design is copyrighted The Creative Motif and The Creative Motif owns the rights to all designs and files (excluding any photography and pre-made graphics in Canva) included in your purchase and design.

Your completed website design may be used in our template showcase, sales pages or on our social media for demonstration and promotion purposes.

MISC important notes

You will need a Squarespace subscription and you may need Photoshop/Canva to use these premade websites. Please read each premade website description carefully to see what is needed for that particular premade website.

You have lifetime access to the premade website, but I can’t guarantee lifetime updates to the content. If the premade website has been retired/removed from the store, it will no longer be updated.
